- Formation : 32nd Spring School in Theoretical Computer Science (Campus de Luminy, Marseille, France, 2004)
In 2004, the school will focus on Concurrency Theory and Applications. This area has been developing in the last forty years starting from work in formal languages, programming, mathematical logic, and control theory. Nowadays, the theory proceeds along a certain number of avenues such as net theory, process calculi, and modal logics. Many specialised or enriched models have been developed in order to cover a variety of applications such as synchronous, real time, and distributed systems.
