URBM is formed by three laboratories: Structural and Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetic and Microbiology. Yeast and Brucella sp. are used as model systems in order to study the function, the structure and the interaction of proteins involved in cell cycle, regulation of genes expression and virulence.

A Biotechnology plateform is in charge of the R&D in enzymology and vaccinology or diagnostic for veterinary purposes.
