Project
Fundamental study of the electronic and vibrational properties of polymer (ultra) thin films
Duration
1972-2001
Keywords
polymer,biopolymers,metal-polymer,electron spectroscopies,ceramic-polymer,surfaces,interfaces,surface treatments
Description
Polymer surfaces (elemental composition, chemical analysis, structural properties) are studied with electron spectroscopies, with emphasis on the potentialities of photoemission techniques (ESCA or XPS for core and valence bands studies; HREELS for vibrational/phonon/plasmon and electronic transition studies).
