Project
NanoMembranes against Global Warming (NanoGLOWA)
Duration
2006-2011
Keywords
CO2 removal, membrane application, composite material, carbon nanotube
Description
The emission of CO2 is a present threat for the global climate. Storage of the greenhouse gas in empty gas fields and aquifers could be a solution. To store CO2 underground it should be captured first. Nanostructured membranes have the potential of doing that. The NANOGLOWA project wants to turn this potential into reality.
