Duration

2006-2010

Keywords

data protection, computer crime, consumer protection

Description

The project aims to study from different points of view (technical, legal, socio-organisational and ethical) the different ways to observe and control people circulating in public places like supermarkets, cinema, etc. for both marketing and security reasons.

In that context, the CRID input will focus on the legal issues raised by these techniques (data protection, computer crime, consumer protection) in order to address recommendations in the design of the information system and its management.
