PHD thesis

Information systems in health networks. A pertinent socio-technical system for the actors cooperation ?

Duration

2005-2008

Keywords

Network, health, information system, coordination, conventions

Description

In order to adapt to the many changes concerning the field of health, the current policies of healcare preach an integrated and directed assumption of responsibility patient. This political good-will, linked to the costs rationalization, implies the setting in network of the actors implied in the assumption of responsibility and the improvement of the communication between those. This research project aims at a better comprehension of the constitution and regulation of the networks of health in their strategic and cognitive dimensions. A detailed attention will be paid to the devices, and specifically to the data-processing device, with which is equipped the network to support its coordination and the co-operation between the various professional actors.
