PHD
thesis
Deriving user-requirements from human-computer interfaces
Duration
since 2004
Keywords
Database Design, Graphical User Interfaces, Software Requirements, End-user
Description
Acquisition of specifications based on the analysis of explicit and implicit information contained in form-based human-computer interfaces (typically web interfaces). These specifications are materialized as a normalized schema corresponding to an important part of the conceptual schema of the database. Based on user-drawn interfaces, the schema is elaborated using reverse-engineering and integration techniques.
