Project
Requirements Engineering for Auction-based E-Commerce Information Systems
Duration
since 2004
Description
The growth in size and complexity of the architectures supporting online auctions requires the use of distributed and cooperative software components. In this context, the agent software development paradigm seems appropriate both for their modeling, development and implementation. We perform agent-oriented and pattern-based analysis of best practices for online auction, and suggest requirements engineering models to ensure that best practices are implemented into online auction systems.
