PHD
thesis
Yang-Mills cosmology and inhomogeneous cosmological models (CHAMPSYM)
Duration
2000-2004
Keywords
Cosmology, gauge theories
Description
Development of a numerical code to integrate the non linear partial differential equations
of Einstein-Yang-Mills theory. The approach is based on constrained hamiltonian formulation.
Analysis of the gravitational stability of Yang-Mills fields (conformal invariance):
diffusion of gauge potentials, dilution of primeval Yang-Mills excitations during expansion.
Comparison between spatially flat, open and closed cosmologies.
