Liberties in the Information Society

The unit deals with questions linked to the protection of privacy and personal data, e-government, access to official documents, the commercialisation of public data and freedom of expression. These issues are analysed in the context of information and communication technologies. The cell also examines the subject of electronic democracy.

The study of the impact of new technologies on rights and liberties forms the object of numerous research projects, which together cover the following principle themes :
