The programmes are organized within the Académie Louvain. Though many courses are taught in English, French remains the main teaching language.

Economics and Management

Two-year Master's Degree
Economics:

the programme is organized by the Louvain School of Economics, a joint venture with the Université Catholique de Louvain. It is centered on the international dimension and can be followed, in part or in whole, in English. It offers a choice between three types of training: applied economics, research-oriented training and teacher education. Three specialization areas are proposed in Namur: development economics, economic policy and financial economics, four in Louvain-la-Neuve: cycles, growth and globalisation, public economics and social policies, political economy and social norms, economics of firms strategies and innovation. Students have access to the programme courses both in Namur and Louvain-la-Neuve.

 

Management and Business Engineering: these two Master's degrees are organized within Louvain School of Management, the largest school of management in Belgium, with 500 professors and nearly 5000 students. The Louvain School of Management has been set up by five prominent institutions for higher education in Belgium, i.e., University of Namur (FUNDP), Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Facultés Universitaires Catholiques de Mons (FUCaM), Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis à Bruxelles (FUSL) and ICHEC Management School, Brussels. The programmes are strongly anchored in business life. The majors proposed in Namur

are: quantitative finance, operational marketing, services management, business law and information management.

Together with a new programme adapted to the mobility requirements of students, researchers and professors, our Faculty offers students a very approachable staff, knowledgeable and experienced in contemporary economic and business practises, concerned with human issues and open to the world. In addition to “Erasmus” exchanges, students have an opportunity to benefit from internships in Belgium or abroad thanks to the relations that have been created between our Faculty and institutions and companies in Belgium, Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, South and South-East Asia, Australia, and Japan.
